Introduction

When you're pregnant, it's important to get care during and after your pregnancy to keep you and the baby healthy. OSF OnCall Connect gives you extra support between your regular doctor visits, beginning at week eight of pregnancy through six weeks after delivery (postpartum).

OSF OnCall Connect is a safe, secure service available at no cost to you. We provide education, information and virtual check-ins through an easy-to-use app. Your OSF OnCall Connect care team stays digitally connected with your in-person care team.

What to Expect

  • Education and information for each week of your pregnancy
  • Regular check-ins by chat
  • 24/7 virtual access to a care team specially trained to support pregnant women and their babies
  • Screening for postpartum depression
  • Review of needs you may have, such as transportation, food or housing
  • Breastfeeding support
  • Support and information when it's convenient for you

Once you self-enroll, you'll receive an invitation to download the GetWell Loop app. You'll also receive a blood pressure cuff in the mail. A certified vendor will call to confirm your insurance information and determine what size of cuff you need.

Mobile pregnancy and postpartum support

We offer a mobile clinic that travels to you, if eligible, for regular care during and after pregnancy.

The mobile clinic provides services like:

  • Ultrasounds
  • Blood tests
  • Vaccines
  • Blood pressure checks
  • Help connecting to in-person care teams

To qualify, you must:

  • Be at least eight weeks pregnant or no more than four weeks postpartum
  • Have Medicaid coverage
  • Live in Illinois (Bureau, Henry, Knox, LaSalle, Marshall, Peoria, Putnam, Stark and Woodford counties)
  • Enroll in the OSF OnCall Connect pregnancy and postpartum program

Once you are enrolled in the OSF OnCall Connect pregnancy and postpartum program, you will have access to services on the van as determined by your care team.

This program is available to women in the state of Illinois who have Illinois Medicaid or women in the state of Illinois or Michigan who have the OSF HealthCare group medical plan. Patients must be pregnant or in the first month of postpartum.
